Today we took a short drive to the Farmington Bird Refuge. I never knew how close it was. We were really hoping to spot the eagles that hang out there this time of year. We actually saw one as it was flying away from us, but nothing photo-worthy. We spotted a lot of the famous Dump Seagulls and some other feathered waterfowl. This little guy was the prize of the day. I'm not even sure what he is. I'm guessing some type of crane?
We will be taking another trip for sure. I read that between the end of February and August, the action really picks up there!
