Merry Christmas!

We hope you had as much fun as we did on Christmas! L spent Christmas Eve writing a note to Santa about the cookies we had made for him and the carrots we left for the reindeer. After that, he watched The Christmas Story. M scored with her pile of goodies under the tree on Christmas morning (so did L). We are headed over to mom and dad's later today to celebrate AGAIN with Jason and his family! Merry Christmas!

Gorgoza Park

Yesterday we took L to Gorgoza Park by Park City tubing as an early birthday celebration. We had a great time on the tubing hills and L took a ride on the snowmobile run. Near the end of the day we were freezing and headed off to Pei Wei for dinner. Lots of fun and lots of pictures for you to enjoy!

Taking it to the Hoop

Just a quick picture from last night's Jr. Jazz game. It was the last game of the fall session. L will start up again after the new year. Very fun game to watch! L's team was down 1-10 and came back (but not victorious) at 9-12. Two really good teams fighting it out on the court!

Just playing around with some pictures of my decorations. They don't complain when I ask to take their picture!

Jr. Jazz Victory!

Here are a few pictures from L's basketball game last night. The final score was 28-18 and L had 14 of their points! Another game tomorrow night, too! That's what happens when you have three weeks off. You have a lot of make up games!

Sk8r Girl

Here is my little skater girl and her mad scientist brother. M wanted to dress up for Halloween even though she doesn't go out trick or treating. We went to the DI and bought this little beauty for $5. It's amazing the fun you can get out of a $5 ice skater costume.

Happy (Early) Halloween

L had a carnival at school tonight. He is a mad scientist this year. It works pretty well with his hair! In fact, he won the "best do" category in the costume contest and he didn't even enter!

How Did You Celebrate Columbus Day???

Here is how we celebrated Columbus Day (or really Columbus Night)...

L had another soccer game tonight. The score was 7-2 for L's team! YEAH! You can see from the pictures that he was really into the game tonight! After an awesome showing at keeper, he played forward and scored!

After L's game, we decided to run out to the Pumpkin Patch in Farmington and get some pumpkins for our yard. It sure is hard trying to find the perfect pumpkin! If you look close enough, you can see that L is sporting his own jack-o-lantern smile!

Keep checking back...Basketball starts this week!

Fall Colors

We took a drive up Weber Canyon this morning to take some pictures of the fall colors. We ended up at Snow Basin. The colors were so bright! Of course, I made M and L pose for me so that I could print new pictures for our house.

Mueller Park

Here is just a quick post from our little trip to Mueller Park. We only got a few shots off and then my battery died on my camera (nice planning).

Happy First Day of School

Here are some of our traditional "First Day of School" pictures. The pictures of them together weren't so great...maybe I can talk them into a do-over later! McKell wasn't so hip on getting up so early this morning (notice the "thumbs-up"). She is used to sleeping until at least 9:00 every day, so 6:00 comes pretty early! She is a little nervous about High School!

Landon was up and dressed when Ron and I got back from the gym at 6:30. He said he had been awake since 6:00. He just wanted to wear his new clothes and shoes! We had a fight last night because he wanted to wear jeans today (we are having record highs and there is no A/C in the school). He's my little Mr. GQ. And...can you tell he got a haircut last night?

Well...I hope you all had a happy First Day. The excitement drops off from here!

The Greatest Goalie

L's team lost their game Friday and their chance to get into the semi-finals. He was pretty bummed after the game. Good thing that the real season hasn't started yet and we can look forward to some more opportunities to win! Here are a few pictures of my favorite goalie.

Sparta Cup

L and J have been playing in the Sparta Cup this week. Here are a few pictures of their games this afternoon. Both teams lost today. L's team has one more game tomorrow. If they win, they move to the semi-finals. Cross your fingers! By the way...J is in white and L's team is the black team.

Seamless Paper

I bought a roll of seamless paper for a background yesterday. What does this mean? Nothing unless you are one of my kids and are forced to model for me while I try it out. The roll is 107 inches wide. What does this mean? Nothing unless you are my husband and have to move furniture out of the living room to make room for it. For me it means another excuse to pull out the camera!

Ok...here are some pictures from today's shoot. Lucky for M, she is at Lake Mead where it is 112-114 degrees. She gets a pass on today's shoot.
