Today was the big Science Fair at the Elementary School. We have been working on this since before Christmas. I think the hardest part was coming up with an idea. Luckily, we had a general idea of what to do and then I found a great science kit at one of the boutiques I went to before Christmas that made it really easy.
So...what was the project, you ask? L wanted to try and generate energy from a different source...a lemon! So...when you insert a copper and a zinc electrode into a lemon and do the same thing to a second lemon, the chemical reaction gives off enough energy to power a clock (see, I learned something too)!

I am SO glad that this is the last Science Fair project to be done at our house! Now I can sleep better at night not worrying about it!
