Cold Trip North

My work took me to Logan this morning. I got stuck in a big traffic jam near Layton that made me a little late. The temperature dropped as low as 1° (so glad my rental car was reliable and didn't break down along the way! I wouldn't want to get out of my car when it is that cold!). But...besides the traffic and the cold, it was a pretty trip through the canyon!

Civic Duty

Sitting here wishing it was tomorrow and I didn't have to see election coverage on every station! I did my civic duty right when the polls opened this morning. After that...I'm done with these shenanigans!

A Little Late!

It's been a while. Here is how we celebrated Halloween. Hope your day was as spooky as ours!

VOTD - A New Fence for Us!

Ron and L spent the better part of three days working on putting in a new fence along the back wall.  The wind took our "chain-link monster" out last winter in the wind storm. Yes kids, miracles do happen!

Took down the nasty chain link fence and grape vines this morning. Best day!! I have wanted to get them out for the past 16 years!! Now work on the new fence begins.

L is so happy today! He is getting fitted for his retainer and then in 2-3 weeks, he will be a happy man! No more braces at the Trusty house. WOOHOO!

POTD - a WHOLE DAY

L has basketball camp all day today. That means a day in Park City and lunch in Midway! A whole day to ourselves rocks! We can eat caprese salad and go wherever we want!! Yea!!
