Seamless Paper

I bought a roll of seamless paper for a background yesterday. What does this mean? Nothing unless you are one of my kids and are forced to model for me while I try it out. The roll is 107 inches wide. What does this mean? Nothing unless you are my husband and have to move furniture out of the living room to make room for it. For me it means another excuse to pull out the camera!

Ok...here are some pictures from today's shoot. Lucky for M, she is at Lake Mead where it is 112-114 degrees. She gets a pass on today's shoot.

Toot!

This is what happens when I try to do a little "photo shoot" with L and M. Somehow it turned into a "toot shoot". The funny thing is...no one will admit who did it! I think we must have barking spiders!

Photography Field Trip

My photography class went on a field trip to the Great Salt Lake last night. Landon and Hannah came along as models. They work pretty cheap (a little ice cream after the shoot). It was 104 degrees out there and smelled really bad...not to mention the spiders crawling around EVERYTHING! We were afraid to lean on or sit on anything for fear of a hitchhiker jumping on! Even though Ron just had surgery on Friday, he tagged along too!

Here are a few pictures from last night...

More from the Farm

I tried to add more pictures to my last post and it wouldn't let me so here are some more in a second post...

Down on the Farm

We went to Idaho last weekend for our Family Reunion (I'll post that in a separate post). Here are a few of the pictures we took at the ranch. Good memories from there!

I swear this chicken kept posing for me! Can you say "Chicken Dance"?

Ha Ha...I think Ron and Jason really had a good time posing for Katie and me! They just pretended to not like it!

This is the famous barn. I hope it stays up a little while longer. I'll be sad to see it go someday.

I will post Reunion pics tomorrow or Friday. You all know that at 9:30, I turn into a pumpkin (at 10:30, I'm a real mess)!

Random Pictures

Here are a few random pictures from the past week. The first one is Father's Day at my parents house.

The second is Landon's cub scout group after an all day Scout camp. Don't they look like something you would want to spend an entire day with??? Ok...that's why they don't ask me to do Cub Scouts. I would have left some of them on the mountain!

The last ones are a few from Cody's basketball game at the U of U last night. They are a little too grainy for my liking. I'm still struggling with gym lighting.

We are heading to Boise to the Balloon Festival with Jason, Katie and Bailey so come back to see some pics from that!

The Pelican

Ron, Landon and I took a little trip to Bountiful Lake last Friday to kill some time. The past two times we have been there, there have been 5-6 pelicans floating around. So...this time, I took my camera down and there was one, lonely pelican hanging out. The one with the kids in the boat...I have no idea who they are. There was a scout troop having a camp out that night. I just liked the color of their canoe!

Mmmmm...Diet Coke and Mentos...

Click on the arrow to play the video... Ron had a physical today and they told him to stop drinking so much soda because it causes high blood pressure. So...I told him I would slow down on the Diet Coke since he has to cut back. Haven't had one yet today and it's 1:30! That's big for me! However, this video doesn't help me much!

Silver Lake

We took a little trip up Big Cottonwood Canyon this past weekend and went to Silver Lake at Brighton Ski Resort. We hiked around the trail that runs around the lake (if that's what you want to call it...McKell and I were walking through the snow in our sandals). Here are a few nature pictures and one of some "wild animals."

This one is for Todd

My cousin Todd said that I haven't been updating my blog enough! Ok Todd...Here is a post - JUST FOR YOU!

These first two are just McKell and Landon posing for me. McKell was getting ready for her final 9th grade dance (Mckinsey came over and did her hair for her). Landon is just being Landon in the backyard!

Ok...the next ones are from Memorial Day. These are my Grandpa's grave after we had decorated. It's been a few years now, but we miss him more than ever!

The last set are from Landon's baseball and soccer. The soccer team was called the Mean Green Fighting Machines so at their last game, their coach sprayed their hair green (ok...I wasn't thrilled about green hair)!

Ok...maybe not so many pictures this time around. The system won't let me post Hannah's baptism pictures. Maybe another night... If you want to see any of the pictures "close up", just double click on them to enlarge them.

Thanks for looking!
